Before anything else let Amir Khan-Breidiss Presscott rematch take place.

Freddie Roach was smiling with his heart full of pride as his other masterpiece took his game plan in another level. It was like Picasso marveling at his newly created art. It took only 76 seconds to dismantle the undefeated Dmitriy Salita and the WBA light Welter champion Amir Khan not only retained his belt but move a notch closer to the pound per pound ratings. It was one of his spectacular wins on his career and it was undeniable that many compared him with Roach’s ultimate masterpiece Manny Pacquiao. Yes he could be one but first Amir has to prove all the doubters that he has what it takes to be like Manny. At 23 years old it was at the same age that Manny fought Lehlohonolo Ledwaba and caught the American public’s attention. Amir Khan should start fighting in the US and get the interest he deserves. After his initial loss against Breidis Presscott; Khan piled up wins after wins but with limited opposition. He dominated a shot Marco Antonio Barrera and won his title against Andriy Kotelnik then Salita.
Those fights don’t prove that he has developed a good chin. How well could he match-up against real legitimate opposition like Timothy Bradley, Devon Alexander and Juan Urango who held belts of their own? Or can he take the former light welter king pin Ricky Hatton’s pressure punches? The answer still ends with a question. Manny Pacquiao’s two knockout losses came from weight drained and unpreparedness. There was never a question about his chin while Khan’s knockout loss was devastating that it made his chin an open target for power punchers. Pacquiao’s two losses made him a target for body shots but Manny developed his weaknesses by training hard and even beating his abdomen with a Thai stick. There is no question for Khan’s talent but before thinking about fighting in the US he has to face his old demons in the past. He needs to be tested and Breidis Presscott is his ticket.
Freddie Roach knows that it would be one of the toughest fight for his ward but there’s no easy way for greatness passing through the eye of the needle maybe difficult but rewarding before anything else let Amir Khan- Breidiss Presscott rematch take place.
