Goods has been delivered into Tampa Florida right into Miguel Cotto’s camp a customized everlast punching bag was taken out of its box and a face of Manny Pacquiao was printed on the leather. It served as Miguel’s punching bag and getting all the punishment as Cotto vent his power delivering a menacing sound that looks like the bag is gonna pop anytime soon.
It has been a long and grueling camp for Cotto and finally the conclusion is coming into an end with days left before trading blows with Manny Pacquiao. Cotto will have to prove that he is not damaged goods after suffering a humiliating loss to the hands of Antonio Margarito. He is vocal in saying he has already move on from that fight and whatever Margarito put on his hand wraps it has long been forgotten… really? Like in every heart ache or in every break up that stingy feeling will always be there no matter how you try to put it aside. He was riding high on a winning streak and everyone on his division feared him after disposing Sugar Shane Mosley but on his Margarito loss his force field of invincibility was slowly fading. The fights between Jennings and Clottey seem to be the barometer if Cotto was truly back on his old days when he could have cruised his way with Jennings it took him five rounds to disposed him and on the Clottey fight Cotto could have stop Clottey on his first knock down but instead escape with a precarious split decision win. Wounds heal but scars will always stay as it is to remind us of that pain we felt in every heart ache or loss we feel. Miguel Cotto is still a good and very dangerous fighter and in a sport where one punch can make a difference Manny is still susceptible to Cotto’s vaunted body shots.
I don’t believe in damage goods in the sport of boxing as long as he can punch he still has the capable to knock anybody out and Cotto is very much capable in scoring an upset.
As Miguel Cotto continues to pound the punching bag a distorted print of Manny was seen. Cotto continues to punch and team Cotto was impressed on how the camp went well. The everlast bag seems bit damage but we all know and everyone in this planet knows the real Manny Pacquiao punches back.
