NBA teams who had no chance of making to the playoffs usually end up tanking for the season. “Tanking” in basketball terms is intentionally trying to lose games, for playoff bound teams they used tanking as a way of positioning to get a better position in terms of opponent during playoffs. While teams like Milwaukee Bucks (9-41) and Philadelphia 76ers (15-36) are gearing for a good future draft picks. Thon Maker, a seven-foot-one high school sophomore has been making waves this early in his career. While he is still eligible for the NBA draft in 2017, Thon is the reason why you shouldn’t trade your draft picks, and for teams to go tanking all the way.
A crossbreed between Kevin Garnett and Kevin Durant, he shoots three, drives to the basket, step back jumper and plays very good defense. He still needs to add weight though. Interesting prospect, watch the video below
