Mayweather’s March excuse

A busted ear drum a cauliflower like ear lobe and a bruised hand as Manny Pacquiao slowly recovering from his minor injuries inflicted by a powerful welterweight Miguel Cotto but it was all worth it when Pacquiao dominated Cotto onward to a 12th round stoppage and believed me Cotto got the end of the beating after Manny dominated the Puerto Rican from start to finish with two knockdowns in round 3 and 4 respectively. After the fight Pacquiao is running for a congressional seat in his hometown and getting some finishing touches on his up and coming movie “Wapakman” in other words Manny is in no way ready to fight this March and Floyd Mayweather Jr. knows that. Before even mentioning a fight against Manny, Floyd was contemplating in fighting in London against Ricky Hatton’s brother Matthew he wanted to avoid Manny as much as possible like the way he avoided Cotto, Paul Williams, Shane Mosley and Antonio Margarito in the past. But when Floyd set a March 13 date against Manny, Manny never gave it a second thought and directly said yes to Floyd’s offer. Many said it was too soon for Pacquiao or his eardrum who is not fully healed could give him some problems in balance but Pacquiao admits that he wouldn’t take the fight if he thinks his body is still not 100 percent.
Floyd as talented as he is will have to face someone who could match his speed but with power in both hands and most of all can take a welterweight punch. They can make allegations if they want to and trash talk Manny if they can. But come this March 13 everything will be settled out in the ring. They have to make their allegations with basis because if Floyd loses their won’t be any excuses left.
