When Shane caught up with Floyd..

The Mosley-Mayweather fight has already been sealed and delivered. Mayweather finally signed the contract and will now trade blows with the most dangerous opponent he ever face on his career. The two welterweights have been constantly matched for the past decade. Shane have already fought the strongest competition on the Welterweight division he move up to the light middleweight looking to find willing dancing partners he lost to Winky Wright twice but won two against Fernando Vargas and one against De La Hoya. When Shane Mosley was asking for a ring date with Mayweather, Floyd seems to find the right button to pushed evading Mosley with untimely retirement and silly excuses. Floyd is best known for his defense and cerebral exchanges he also known for ducking legitimate opponents that could ruin his immaculate record. He was offered $8 Million to fight Margarito but he dumped him favoring a fight with Carlos Baldomir like dumping a Rolls Royce for a Corolla. The bad blood has been going on with Mosley chasing Mayweather for years. He even went to the ring after a fresh victory against a bloated light weight Juan Manual Marquez and said to Floyd when will you fight me?
Before Manny Pacquiao is added on the equation Mosley-Mayweather fight is the biggest fight that has to be made. Years before we would laugh when Manny Pacquiao is being matched up with Floyd Mayweather Jr. or even Shane Mosley it was simply a mismatch with a 130 pounder fighting at 147 pounds. But with victories against De La Hoya, Hatton and Miguel Cotto Manny is making noises in that division that it’s hard to ignore. After failed negotiations with Mayweather, Manny will face Clottey and after days of dead air Floyd has finally signed the contract to fight Mosley. If Floyd really wants to fight Shane then why does it took him time to sign the paper? The same thought about Manny when he demanded a random blood testing. If he was really sincere about his intentions then why didn’t he demanded it the first time they were negotiating?
They say Floyd has been running in the later part of his career but this time he is facing a brick wall and had no other choice but to face the music. Shane Mosley had just cornered Floyd the chase is over. He can talk trash whatever he wants or demand a random blood testing up to the day of the fight but I know he is wary of Mosley’s wrath. After all you know what happens when an angry man has caught up to you right? Especially chasing you for almost a decade.
